ABOUT US

We launched the Erdővidék Regional Television in 2006 with the intention of creating an opportunity for information. Our programs are about us and for us. We learn about the events of the world from national media, but this only partially reflects our reality. What happens in our immediate environment is often more important, as we are not only participants but also authors of our lives, and the fate of our micro-region is taking shape. Our future is not “ready” but is always in the making. Our choices are good when we pay attention to our values, preserve and pass them on, and respect each other's values, because we are all carriers of values and bear responsibility for our actions and for one another. 

The Erdővidék Regional Television publishes information that impacts the lives of the residents of our micro-region, highlights exemplary events, and showcases the cultural, educational, heritage-preserving, civic, and tourism values of the region. The television programs are broadcast continuously in the towns of Erdővidék and the county by national cable providers and can also be followed online by anyone interested in the region. We trust that highlighting exemplary events and raising awareness of local resources will serve as a motivating force for the actors in our region to assess the long-term opportunities of our area and use them as effectively as possible.

Our partners are the local governments and institutions of Barót, Bacon, and Vargyas, as well as the county government, cultural institutions in the county, the Brașov Hungarian Broadcast, and Pertu.
